Kyle graduated from Northwestern University, where he studied curating and contemporary art. He worked at LA-based magazine East of Borneo, which is a collaborative art journal and multimedia archive that frames a discussion of contemporary art and its modern history as considered from LA.

For this show, he selected Bloomington-area artists making a variety of works, including videos. This opening also featured a poetry reading with Dustin Funk, ’08.
